Decision Paralysis

Greetings, hobby folks!

So I'm in a quandry. I have so many projects on the go and I'm a bit overwhelmed.

  • Display cabinet elements
  • Legions Imperialis
  • Adepta Sororitas
  • Legion of the Damned
  • World Eaters
  • Drukhari
  • Terrain
  • General Backlog
  • Website updates

What the absolute fluff! I need to settle my mind. I need to focus. I need to find joy again. It strikes me that I'm looking at my hobby task list as more of a chore than a labour of love. This is not okay. Especially since I'm committing financial resources to the task. I bought the Dark Angels combat patrol for the LOTD. I bought the Greytide Studios bit pack for the LOTD. I bought a new spray painting hood. I stood up my resin printer. I bought a new display cabinet. I've printed loads of stuff. I also haven't updated the itoysoldiers site in forever.

But I can't complete anything. What the absolute fluff. So what am I going to do. I've got a bunch of stuff out on my table, and my shared craft table, and my garage... I need to do something. I'm not sure what. Am I suffering from depression? Am I just not loving this hobby any more? I'd say I should take a break but that's all I'm doing.

To be fair, that's not all I'm doing. I regularly bring something to the painting table and slap some paint on it. I'm also posting to this blog a bit more (clearly) but I wonder if that's just procrastination. It's also not helping that my eyes are deteriorating. Like in a big way. Woe Woe Woe is me.

So that's me whining a bit. It'll get better. I'll kick this malais which has been affecting me for years at this point. Woe.
